Henrico County surrounds the independent city of Richmond. The neighborhoods boast a mix of architectural designs including quaint cottages, stately colonial houses, and mid-century modern residences. The West End can stretch as much north (sometimes more commonly referred to as Northside) as it does west and includes various areas such as Westham, Tuckahoe, Lakeside, Laurel and Glen Allen.

Within minutes, residents can access the serene landscapes of the countryside or a short drive to the bustling city. The most well- known section of this area is Short Pump. Short Pump is a vibrant area characterized by its thriving atmosphere offering a wide range of amenities. One of the key features of Short Pump is its extensive shopping, dining and entertainment options. Housing options are diverse and plentiful. The area features large and small subdivisions and planned urban developments offering single family homes, condominiums and townhomes.
  3. The East End: The East End includes neighborhoods such as Highland Springs, Varina, Sandston, and Montrose Heights. It is known for its historic charm, including landmarks like Seven Pines National Cemetery and Dabbs House Museum. It features a mix of residential areas, commercial districts and natural spaces. There is a variety of housing opportunities in the East End as well to include single family homes within subdivisions, on agricultural land or on the James River and condos and townhomes.
